Our Solar Eclipse!

by Madeline Gerwick

Madeline Gerwick AstrologerDuring the wee hours of Monday night (actually early Tuesday morning), we had (by the time you read this) an unusual Solar Eclipse (New Moon). What's getting started at this hidden, New Moon, are conversations with powerful or influential people or organizations, especially about growth. (Sun, Moon and Mercury trine Pluto and Mercury sextile Jupiter).

The good news is that stable growth is coming back into play now (Jupiter trine Saturn is starting again for the last time). In addition, we have an excellent cycle for growth in close range (Jupiter trine Chiron), which will peak on May 14th. To top that off, we have another cycle associated with stability (Saturn trine Chiron) and healing in a steady way. This is one of the best possible combinations for our economy.

Even though the stock markets have been unpredictable, they have fared pretty well so far., and with these cycles, should continue to do so for awhile. Should the alleged, gold-backed US Treasury dollar be announced, that would further support our economy. There are still plenty of possible, hidden, and unexpected, financial changes (Uranus in the 2nd house, square Pluto in 12th and opposite Mars in the 8th). Certainly a Global Currency Reset and/or a new US Treasury dollar are possibilities.

The primary meaning of this eclipse is that you may be dealing with confused or unclear motivations, or wasted energy, especially with groups. It's best not to take any real action. And since we're still in Mars retrograde, when it's not time for new starts, this is in resonance with it. However, the secondary meaning of this eclipse is related to enjoying the fruits of one's culture. This is a time to celebrate, enjoy family, and other cultural ties. Share some joy with groups you like.

This eclipse occurred at 8 degrees Taurus 52 minutes. If you, or your business, have a planet or personal point between 5 - 13 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio, then this eclipse will have a direct impact on you or your business. Eclipse events can occur as early as 30 days prior to the actual eclipse, or up to 30 days later.
