With her Sun and Rising sign in Sagittarius, and Moon in Taurus, Laura is an avid knowledge seeker, truth teller, and just plain ol’ good listener. Laura’s interest in astrology was sparked by her housemate, who had studied astrology for 12 years. After a long marriage and a divorce she was very nervous about dating, so her housemate said, “Find out his birth date and I’ll tell you all about him.” Laura was intrigued and got the info to her housemate and she has been fascinated with astrology ever since.

Laura has a multifaceted background including 7 years in the family counseling field and experience as a body worker utilizing a type of massage called Trager Psychophysical Integration. She has been in a long marriage, single parented, had partnerships, and has also been out there dating, so she can empathize with your current relationship state.

Having lived and worked in Cusco Peru for a while, she delights in the freestyle improvisational dance community in Austin. She also enjoys gardening, camping, and music. (Just to let you know she is well rounded).

Get Real with Laura

The thing I love about Laura is that she will always tell it like it is - or like it could be - without shying away from "real" language. And she avoids the kind of old-school astrological deterministic language that can be so limiting. With Laura, you get the "straight dope" mixed in with the kind of psychological insight that is only gained through experience. This is the kind of information I've always found so helpful during difficult transits. For instance, during a Pluto square, while transformation is inevitable, an astrologer who who focuses on the positive in an unbalanced way may skirt the issue of intensity that can arise in a Pluto transit. Not Laura. She delivers useful practical information that will help you navigate your transits with a balanced and very real perspective.
